PRAKASAM DISTRICT LATEST ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2018-‘19
Our Mahila Mandali has been registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 constituted by a committee of seven members known as managing committee.
The main objectives of the organization is to educate people and make them conscious and concerned about self-reliance , social justice to eradicate illiteracy poverty and misery without discrimination of caste, creed, colour and community. The following activities has been taken up during this year.
Our organization converted our day care centre into Senior Citizens Home with the order of Ministry Of Social Justice & Empowerment, New Delhi. We are providing two time meals and one time breakfast per day to Twentyfive older persons, Who are above sixty years old. We are providing medical facilities to the beneficiaries. We appointed one part time doctor and one nurse to check up these beneficiaries at weekly once. We are giving medicines at free of cost. We appointed one social worker, one superintend, one yoga therapist, one cook, three multy task employees for giving better service to inmates.
We distributed educational books to the poor students for improve their knowledge. Now a days the aids is very big chronological disease. There is no cure for that, only death is final stage. So our organisation conducted aids awareness camp in our village with our area hospital doctors.
We are celebrating the all national festivals like republic day, independence day celebrations, formation day of Andhra Pradesh, Gandhi Jayanthi, children’s day celebrations, the world women’s day celebrations and the world disabled day celebrations and also other national festivals conducted every year.
We are inspired by the call of our honourable Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modiji, for Swatch Bharath programme for which we are actively participating in all our workplaces and project areas with the motive of maintaining cleanness. Our effects have already been praised by the local government officials.
